Hair transplant in Tbilisi, Georgia for international patients
Your case is assigned to a named surgeon from Hairline’s five-surgeon team before the procedure. Planning begins remotely, the surgeon confirms the plan in Tbilisi, every graft is counted and documented, and follow-up continues after you return home.
What the trip looks like
This itinerary is for a one-day procedure. Two-day procedures need an individual schedule; confirm the full stay and any additional hotel nights with the clinic before booking flights.
Remote assessment and planning
Send photographs of your donor and recipient areas for a free preliminary assessment, graft estimate and indicative quote. We aim to reply within two working days and will let you know if more information or review is needed. The plan and quote are confirmed with you before booking.
Arrival and consultation
Airport transfer, then an in-person examination. Donor density is measured, the hairline is drawn with you, and the plan is confirmed or revised before anything begins.
Surgery
For a one-day procedure, surgery takes six to eight hours under local anaesthetic. Grafts are counted as they are extracted, with the running total visible to you. Non-Shave FUE above 3,000 grafts and Long Hair Transplantation above 2,500 grafts take two days; the clinic confirms your schedule before you book travel.
Dressing and postoperative consultation
We dress the operated area and review your recovery at a postoperative consultation. Aftercare medication and written instructions are provided, and the confirmed graft count goes into your file. We do not wash your hair on the day after surgery.
Discharge check and departure
A final review confirms healing is on track and clears you to fly. If you wish, we wash your hair at the clinic on departure day and show you the washing technique. Most patients travel home on day four.
Remote follow-up
Reviews at months three, six and twelve by photograph and video call. There is no cost, and no need to return to Georgia for routine follow-up.
What we arrange
Airport transfer
Collection from Tbilisi International and return, included.
Accommodation
Three hotel nights are included in your international package. We arrange the accommodation around your confirmed surgery dates.
Language support
Consultations run in English, Russian or Georgian. We also have a Hebrew-speaking team member. Interpreting for other languages is arranged on request.
Scheduling
Surgery dates set around your flights, not the other way round.
A significant share of our international work is correction
Patients travel to us to fix results from elsewhere – unnatural hairlines, visible donor scarring, and density that never matched the graft count they paid for. We assess the case on what remains, not on where it was done, and we will tell you plainly if it cannot be improved.
Questions about travelling here
How many days do I need in Georgia for a hair transplant?
For a one-day procedure, the usual visit is four days: arrival and consultation on day one, surgery on day two, dressing and a postoperative consultation on day three, and a discharge check before flying on day four. Non-Shave FUE above 3,000 grafts and Long Hair Transplantation above 2,500 grafts take two surgical days, so your visit schedule is confirmed individually. Three hotel nights are included; confirm any additional nights with the clinic before booking flights. We do not wash your hair the day after surgery. If you wish, we wash it at the clinic on departure day.
Do I need a visa to visit Georgia?
Citizens of most countries – including the EU, UK, Israel, Russia, the Gulf states and the USA – can enter Georgia visa-free for up to a year. Check your own nationality against the Georgian Foreign Ministry list before booking, as policies change.
What languages do you work in?
Consultations and surgery are conducted in English, Russian or Georgian. We also have a Hebrew-speaking team member who can help with communication. Interpreting for other languages can be arranged with notice.
What happens if there is a problem after I fly home?
You contact us directly and we assess it by photograph, usually the same day. Genuine complications are rare, and most post-operative questions are about normal healing. Where an in-person review is needed we arrange it.
Is the price higher for international patients?
International patients receive a package price based on the method and graft range, from $3,850 for Advanced FUE. The package includes airport–hotel–airport transfers, three hotel nights, preoperative PRP and tests, postoperative medication and supplements, six months of hair-care products, dressing, an optional Tbilisi city tour and one year of remote follow-up. Flights are not included.
